If you are using the on board graphics card system it will work for work, but not at all for any substantial gaming. The i3 means you are going to be running the weakest form of integrated graphics that you can find, and the i3 is not intended for anything more than basic PC work situation, basically internet and word processing type stuff. Even putting in a dedicated graphics card you will run into problems with the i3. Intel designed the i3 for basic stuff, the i5 for more advanced stuff and gaming, and the i7 for the heavy labor processing intensive stuff.

This would be a pretty good build for basic tasks and multimedia playback, maybe even the occasional game and graphic work, but as it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, it will not be able to run the latest games at all, even if it does it will be at really low frame rates. With old games or nes/snes emulators, it'll work fine.

It's a good computer for general use and light gaming. You would have to add a powerful video card for more intensive games.

Your processor isnt that horrible but the lack of a good GPU in your config list wont let you play graphic intensive games like Call of Duty at its finest but I can tell you that I have played CoD modern warfare on a very similar PC and it was OK-ish. Its fine for work and small games. So my conclusion is that you can use it for work and small time gaming. But play games that arent resource intensive like Plant vs Zombies and even some strategy games
