They become ordinary used cars. Like diesel engined ones now. And not even that desirable. Because of lack of refill stations. Here, in Texas, such LPG, LNG conversions are expensive and pretty exclusive single producer/installer/retailer things to do. Costing @$3000 per car. A rather expensive idea that takes years to amortize. Let alone there's that pesky refill problem here too. Now there was a rather open plot by Yellow Cab here. To force, by law, other cab companies and independents to convert to LNG/LPG. By making it a Law that cabs could not enter D/FW Airport without being the "proper" fuel. Yellow Cab had just quietly bought the only conversion company in the entire region before hand.
