it was more likely because there was something in their country that the British were interested in Sindh:e.g. sugar,tea,cloth etc. The British were interested in Sindh because they wanted to regain their prestige which they had lost in Afghanistan.The roads and rivers of Sindh were opened to british trade by a treaty in 1832.
