The list of countries was taken from recommendations from intelligence reports from the Obama administration beginning in 2008. Don't forget Obama also permanently banned Cuban refugees just before he left office and Iraqis for six mobths a few years before and refused to help non Muslim refugees from the middle East.

I hate to say this, but it might be because he has business interest over there. Either that, OR because he feels the 7 listed are more dangerous. I mean, think about it. Would you want to risk going to Iraq right now?
