it contains no fat and no sugar, so can be part of a healthy diet Hummus contains sesame seeds, lemon juice, chick peas and not much more uk

Because it's the only way to eat beans and pulses, which fill you up but are healthy, without wanting to gag.

Hummus has fat, proteins and carbs. Most of the fat comes from Olive Oil which is a one of the best fats. Every ingredient in hummus is good for you, which means you get ample nutrition, which isn't true with lots of foods. Just like David Lee said previously, combine the hummus with veggies to get an added punch with minimal calories. You don't want to go crazy with hummus because it is healthy but not without calories. Moderation is key. Hummus rocks.

Try the misspellings 'loose weight' and there are another 119,033 In all there are over 637,715 Health section questions requesting solutions to being or thinking you might be overweight. On average these each yield 6 answers, that is nearly 4 million answers. (Without searching for any other variations on the question!)
