For one it's a complete year newer, and each year the company usually tries changing something in it. It could also be the things it comes with such as leather seats or sun roof or ect. The rims sometimes makes a difference. The packages it comes with vary in price so it could be something they changed with in the year!

It could be the fact that 2005 was the last year of production.

Newer cars cost more and tend to have fewer miles. I have a 2005 Crossfire Limited myself and it has heated leather seats, a garage door opener, and an upgraded stereo system over the base model. Perhaps the 2004 has those too, but I'm not sure. 2004 was the first model year for the Xfire and so it probably has bugs in the system that were fixed in later models. Just for the record, 2008 was the last model year, not 2005.
