I have a car that randomly locks itself now and then all by itself. It is sort of annoying, but not that big of a deal. The rest of it is fine. I don't know why it does that, but I make sure never to leave the keys in it in case it decides to lock me out.

Does it happen more than once during driving? Or is it once, always right after you get in and start driving? Most likely it's normal operation. Auto-locking system. If not, you may have some wiring issues with your lock actuator.
