Something isn't wired correctly, check everything, you probably conected some wire to another one which isn't supposed to be conected. The wire you conected to R.CNT wire to is probably the cause of your problems, disconect them. Conect the remote wire to the power wire itself, that way the radio will always be ON, but you'll be able to see if it fixed the problem. If it did, conect the remote wire ( r.cnt) to a wire that has 12v current only when the key is at the ON position. Any wire will do. ( I used the sunroof wire in my car, works great)
