I have never busied myself as to the why's of why other people fall in love with anyone. Their happiness and what makes them happy, their choice. I especially do notice the jealousies of others, of the happier people in life, that to me is so pathetic, could say much on that topic. I loved a person way older then me,love of my life, and like so many, they are gifted, just not looking the age they be,he was of the most significant people in my life, not the boring same ol same ol,of sadly...far to many in this world, all they do is gossip, splash the negative what a drag...they truly are. ~*

They are afraid to grow up, and are attracted to someone who is comfortable and settled in the world .. able to shelter them and take care of them. Unfortunately, developmental maturity cannot be stalled forever. Sooner or later (usually within 10 years), the girl who has married the older man finishes growing up. Just like the teenager who had to separate from her parents by hating them ... the wife starts feeling depressed and claustrophobic and eventually claws her way out of the marriage. I have never seen one who did it without pain. The only exception is when the woman is over 30 or 35 ... in which case she has grown up and she is not longer drawn to the older man in an attempt to avoid growing up. Life is scary. We would all like to stay protected and sheltered forever. It's a pipe dream.
