Make sure the break fluid reservoir is full. The break lines will have air in them and will be needed to be purged.

It's BRAKES. I wouldn't even like to hazard a guess at this one. If it was air in the lines, it would happen ALL the time. I suggest you get a qualified mechanic to have a look as soon as possible!

Your brake fluid is low. I suggest taking it to a shop to see if you have a leak and if the brakes need to be bled.

Brakes*. Perhaps you need your brake fluids changed. Does the pedal feel soft and "spongy" when you depress it?

Leak in the hydraulic system, air in the brake lines are my two best guesses. I can fix it at home, I have no idea if you have the tools or the know-how.

Have the car towed to a brake repair shop. Don't drive it anymore. It's probably the master cylinder.
