umm... global warming is basically proven, what most people disagree on is the role that people play in it. And I'm a republican, but i've never once met a democrat who doesn't believe in religion, or other republicans who dont believe in global warming. you're making some pretty broad and untrue statements.

It's not democrats that get mad, it's people that know something about science getting upset with people that don't, making judgments about things that they have no clue about. Reserve judgment on a subject until you know something about it, or defer to experts. Being opinionated on a subject that you don't know anything about is stupid.

Probably because you are a scientifically illiterate twit >> that has not been 100 percent proven<< There is no such thing as "proof" in science. >>We do not get mad at you when you do not believe in Religion<< I did not realize that Karl Rove was a Democrat. >> English Scientist got busted fudging the numbers recently<< Now, you're just lying. >> unproven theory into an exact science when it is not<< Now, we're back where we started - with you being a scientifically illiterate twit who does not know the difference between a scientific law and theory or why the term "creation science" is an oxymoron (as well as being a deliberate lie) -- It's because the scientific method does not allow the use of supernatural explanations (it is the same reason why "Does God exist? is not a valid scientific question).

It is proven, it's not a religion. Climatology is a science and 97% of climatologists are convinced humans are responsible for AGW. 17 out of the last 28 years have been the warmest years globally in 133 years. Sorry you don't know jack about AGW
Answer #5 | 20/12 2013 00:48
Well I don't know much about politics, but global warming is not a theory, it is a hypothesis, there is not enough evidence to elevate it to a theory.
Answer #6 | 20/12 2013 05:33
Because they can disagree
Answer #7 | 20/12 2013 08:40
Do people get angry when you question global warming or do they get angry when people are shown the evidence and call the scientist who work hard to provide this evidence, "liars"?
Answer #8 | 20/12 2013 07:56
Because they follow Goebbels' tenets. Joseph Goebbel, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” They are just protecting their lies as any good tyrant would do. Prico, " Global warming has been proven 100%, the debate in the scientific community is over how much, how fast it will warm and the effects of the warming." This just testifies as to the insanity of the greenies,of which Prico (his real name) is one of them. the debate is only over in their twisted minds. They don't want a debate. They couldn't win one if there was one. And they even know the science is phony. Quote by Christine Stewart, former Canadian Environment Minister: “No matter if the science is all phoney, there are collateral environmental benefits.... climate change [provides] the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world.” Quote by Timoth Wirth, U.S./UN functionary, former elected Democrat Senator: “We’ve got to ride the global-warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.”

Because it concerns taxes and the total control of your life. They want to control people.
Answer #10 | 20/12 2013 06:22
I wish I knew. I undrsetand being confused as wo why people believe some things. I understand being confounded as to why people believe some things. I do NOT understand why people get angry or upset when people do not believe what I believe. Isn't that the very essense of being sentient and alive?
