Besides never showing our number plates on a pic on web..if we just bought from a dealer pop it back and have them take a look. If private we have to sort fir self. Check fuses, read owners handbook etc fir locations. Check connections and loom to lights. Odds are a fuse or simple power supply issue due to broken or unconnected wire.

In the boot, behind the tail lights, it may have a cover or carpet over it, study it and you'll see how to remove whats covering the back of the lights. You'll see plastic plugs that lock into the tail lights, you twist them , ( usually left) and they pull out. By holding the bulb up to the light you can see if the filament has blown. Check your indicators and brake lights as well, best get them all at once.
