The main problem was described by Paul centuries ago: The natural man cannot comprehend spiritual matters, they are foolishness to him. In other words you will get no-where with atheists because they just can't be bothered to find out about spiritual knowledge.

Thats very misleading in any case. There is already a religion called Christianity. And its still cherry picking as you are picking select pieces from the original christian bible. This has all been done before by Martin Luther (in the 16th century). It resulted in protestantism

Answer #6 | 23/12 2013 08:01 are just another individual who doesnt like laws, so you are taking from a bible only those things you like....which places you just one step above an athiest... true chrsitians take the whole bible and work at obeying it

Answer #8 | 23/12 2013 08:01
You can't "create" something that already exists. Words have definitions; definitions matter. (But, I can't say that's ever stopped you keep on truckin'.)

Bible is not meant to be a book of choosing what you like and do not like, though many do. It is a description of life after all. And though if one wrote a book they could leave those things they do not like out, it looses the meaning of life. Life is not always a bowl of cherries, It is looking at the whole view and seeing growth as well as those things removed out of life.

Is this a trick question? As an Atheist, I don't give give 2 toots what you do with a bible!
Answer #11 | 23/12 2013 08:12
Since this isn't an actual question, I'll just say that you should probably spend more time reading other types of books so you'll understand why this isn't actually a question.
Answer #12 | 23/12 2013 08:05
I see what you did there.
Answer #13 | 23/12 2013 08:09
Are they? That would surprising as I doubt if many atheists actually care what you do with the bible, the dictionary, the koran or anything else in the name of religion. The bible was a 'pick'n'mix' exercise so there is precedent. Hey, it's YOUR religion and just as worthy as anyone else's so you pick away. I've got a great car maintenance book you might want to lift the odd paragraph from. One line says "you cannot improve on the right tool". That suits you so well so I suppose that means you must be right :-)
