I will yield to the experts, even if the the answer is obvious to any attentive, intelligent person. The Siena Christian College Presidential poll of more than 235 historians and presidential writers placed Bush as the 39th best. That's 4th WORST president in American history. The same poll, four years later, placed Obama as the fifteenth BEST president the US has ever had. So there you have it, if you couldn't figure it out on your own.

Nice selective use of data to create a false image. Such childish statistical games might fool the average low-info liberal voter, but not people who are knowledge-based. Bush entered office at the beginning of a recession, followed within a year by 9/11 which had a HUGE negative effect on the economy. Obama started after the majority of the layoffs and recession had hit, and was just nearing rock bottom.

Are we further in Debt now? The more we waste, the more painful the correction will be. We survived the follishness of W's Administration. I don't feel so confident about how well we will do when the Big O's bill comes due.

Personally, I'd like to say neither. I was never a fan of Bush and I am certainly not a fan of Obama. If I had to pick who was better based on how much I dislike them both, I'd have to say Obama. It's time we elect a president that we can all be proud of.

MOST Americans (~55%, though I'm guessing not you?) are patriotic enough to own US stocks... The market took a dump under Bush's first term (and ended out his second term with a net 25% loss)...under Obama's first term they recovered that loss and went on to DOUBLE in value... Why was it you THOUGHT that Obama was reelected so easily? NASDAQ under G W Bush; 2,770 DOWN to 1,477 (Net LOSS 52%) NASDAQ under Obama; 1,477 to 4,175 (up 2,698 points, or 183%) Dow under G W Bush; 10,860 down to 8,279 by the time he left Office (Net loss -23.7%) Dow under Obama ; 8,279 to 16,336 (up 8,057 points, or 97%) as of just now… S&P 500 under Bush; 1,343 to 805 (down 538 points, or 46%) S&P 500 under Obama; 805.22 to 1,835 (up 1,030 points or 128%) as of just now… Yes indeed, the National Debt per household has almost doubled...but where did that money go? It went to Iraq & Afghanistan to fund Bush's TWO 'off-the-books' wars... The rest of your data are just "noise" which you will be able to figure out the reasons for (if you can be honest with YOURSELF!) just by thinking logically about them...
