The run-on sentence is B. I heard the weather report, it is going to rain. It's a run-on sentence because it is really 2 sentences just smashed together. Correct it by choosing one of these alternatives: 1) Use a conjunction I heard the weather report, and it is going to rain. 2) Use a period to make it into 2 sentences I heard the weather report. It is going to rain. 3) Use a semicolon I heard the weather report; it is going to rain.
