I'm in my early 40's. I think that we use age as a marker to describe when the best times of our lives were, but I don't think it was the best time of our lives because of the age...if that makes sense. I think it was because if the things going on in our lives. Being in college was a great time for me. I made great friends, really pushed myself and learned do much. It was a hyper personal growth time for me. My early 30's shortly after my daughter was born. My wife and I were very much emotionally connected and we had this wonderful toddler to enjoy life with. I remember really looking forward to weekends and going to malls, the zoo, visiting our friends and going for drives in the country and getting ice cream at ice cream places. My worst time has been the last two years. My wife had an affair and divorced me and my dad died of cancer. I'm unfocussed and struggling at work.

The best time of my life has always been right now. Right now everything is fine. I tend to live in the moment. I didn't used to, and i also made catastrophe predictions about the future. I discovered all that does is give a person anxiety and instills fear. So living RIGHT NOW is peaceful. Whatever happens later, happens. I am over 50 now, and i feel the same as i did when i was 20. I'm a bit wiser, look somewhat older, but so do the people i grew up with and who i'm now acquainted with. It's just fine.. getting older is a process, and a good one. Lots of great experiences in life.
