They should mail them by the end of January. We prepared ours last week and mailed them Friday but usually closer to the middle of the month. Call to make sure they have your correct address and then you can ask when they are expected to be mailed.

The Law Form W-2 reports taxable wages paid to an employee during a one-year period, along with employment taxes withheld from paychecks for that year. Federal law requires all employers to send employees W-2 statements no matter how low earnings or wages are. These W-2 statements can be sent in either paper or digital form, and must be received by employees no later than January 31 of the following year. Employers must also file a copy of employee W-2s with the IRS. Missing or Incorrect W-2s Sometimes W-2 forms can be incorrect or go missing in the mail. If these situations occur, contact your employer to request that new, accurate W-2 forms be sent to your address. If you have yet to receive your W-2 forms by February 14, contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 . Be prepared to give the IRS your name, address, phone number, Social Security number and employment dates, as well as your employer's name, address and phone number. Mailing Date Employers' W-2 forms must have a postmark stating the form went out by Jan. 31. However, in many cases, employers will not send out duplicate W-2 forms until a week to 10 days beyond Jan. 31. This allows for slow mail delivery to catch up to the recipient. Non-Receipt If an employee does not receive a W-2, he should contact the employer to verify correctness of the mailing information. Sometimes, incorrect addresses cause the W-2s to get returned to the employers. In that case, the employer will usually send the W-2 out to the correct address or the employee may decide to pick it up from the employer.
