yes, watching an address is the best way to become knowledgeable on the current situations are country is going though and what are president plans to do. If the president lies or changes his ideas in the future i will know about it because i watched the address.

As I get older, sure. When Carter gave his speeches, I wasn't old enough to understand what he was talking about. Now, I like to hear what the prez 'promises'. Listening to either Bush was harder, because neither has any personality to put in. At least Reagan knew how to act, and Clinton was just a lovable guy.
