I am no good with long distance. I don't have the dedication but then that is what you have to think about. Can you keep up the relationship through e-mails, messages, Skype ect? If you can then it might really be worth it. You never know what might happen if you lose her, even temporarily. But I do believe that if you guys are meant to be, you would find your way back to her. It's a hard decision but maybe you should just give long distance a go. It does work for some people and what have you go to lose from trying? If you don't try then you have to break up and if you do you might not. I hope everything works out for you, and I wish there was an easy fix. Good luck, with your relationship and with college.

If your relationship can't survive the few months between visits, then it's not as good a relationship as it should be. Take your best offer for education and sports now, because you'll never get another chance at it after you're married. If you give up your dreams and the relationship doesn't work out after all, won't you always regret the lost opportunities?

Just do what you have to do. I'd listen to your mom though. Because most importantly, you should follow your heart and do what you desire. Can anyone answer my questions?

In your situation I would listen to your mom. I mean, what if you don't end up marrying her and you regret it? She could be the only girl you'll ever truly love for all you know... If (like you said) you love her, just ask her to marry you!
