Yes I was part of this craze back in the 70's, in fact met my first 'long term' girlfriend on the CB. There was a huge social circle around the hobby with party's meetings and days out etc. Huge fun times ! My handle was 'Sparky' due to my profession a few of my mates were called - Funky General Lee Bambi Kitkat The Chocolate Soldier Enforcer The Minx Dirt Driver Wheatgerm Painter Man

Contrary to public belief, not everyone had a CB radio in their car in the 70's. Very few people in my town had them, and those who did were considered fools.
