Married-2 is normal for a married couple. The IRS has a website to help estimate your allowances. See the IRS Withholding Calculator: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/IRS-Withholding-Calculator
Positive: 50 %

Married/3 is fine. If you and she are paying out of pocket for her college expenses, you might be able to increase that. Otherwise stick with 3. You'll come out about even - a small refund or owe a little. The increase in pay is what you saw in your paycheck when you changed your W-4. Yes you'll be in a 15% bracket, but you don't sound like you understan how brackets work - that doesn't mean your tax drops by 10% of your income.
