A temporary job can be full time, it just doesn't last very long. Maybe a few days, maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months. A part-time job is less than 40 hr/wk, but can be permanent.

a temporary job is like a summer job, it has an expiration date. whereas a part time job is working for however long the employee decides to but for no more than 35 hours per week.

A temporary job is just that - temporary such as a seasonal job - hired for the summer, or hired for the holiday, etc. A part-time job carries fewer hours per week than a full-time job - approx. 30 hours or less a week but can be permanent.
