Intelligence. My source is I'm a psychology student not to mention my "hidden talent" which we supposedly all have is to read people. I'm unable to read someone if they're of much higher intelligence than me, or have been through events/experiences that I haven't which are life changing. Eg death of a parent. Their mind has been effected by something I physically can't fully understand. If you're looking to be hard to read don't give anything away about back ground, about you. Background shapes us so much I use it to get an idea of a person, it's so helpful. Don't try to make yourself mysterious, just don't spell it out for them
