It is one of them cartoons that have sarcasm. Its a comedy, but is slapstick and sarcastic (well the cat is anyway, lol) but its more sarcastic. And yes it can be viewed as a black humour at times. Some parts or not meant to be funny, some parts are. I like Garfield too, the cartoon made me love lasagne! I actually like the food.

I tend to agree with Anna. It's sarcasm, slapstick, and a little dark humor all rolled into one. And I also agree with Nomadd as well cuz it's just like watching TV. If you don't like it either change the channel or turn off your TV. With comics, don't read it. Thanx.
