Hi! Foods like red meat, egg yolks, dark, leafy greens (spinach, collards), dried fruit (prunes, raisins), iron-enriched cereals and grains (check the labels), Turkey or chicken giblets, Beans, lentils, chick peas and soybeans are rich in iron. (Remember if you eat iron-rich foods along with foods that provide plenty of vitamin C, your body can better absorb the iron.) Foods like Seafood (Cooked Oysters), Beef, Lamb, Wheat Germ (Toasted), Spinach, Pumpkin, Squash Seeds, Nuts (Cashews), Cocoa and Chocolate (Cocoa Powder), Pork, Chicken, Beans (Cooked Mung Beans), Mushrooms (Cooked White Mushrooms) are rich in zinc.
