i think people are angry because they are hurt at this person leaving them by choice. the easiest way to die is by choice, the hardest is by letting nature take it's course. life takes courage and not everyone has a drop of that left in them after some experiences. it takes determination to fill your cup up when all you see is a desert.

What is wrong with it is that in most cases it doesn't stop the misery and suffering, it simply transfers it to others, as well as a lot of undeserved and unwanted expenses and inconveniences. We all desire happiness and we all pursue it in one way or another. We all have an equal claim to happiness but none of us has the right to diminish the happiness of others. If you can arrange so that your willful departure leaves no one unhappy or inconvenienced against their will, then have at it.
