the cheapest exotic cars go for a bit over 100k. these are the Audi R8, Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911. they can be bought used for around 70k but they still require maintenance. expect to pay around $25,000 a year (plus financing) to own the car. if you can afford the 80k initial hit plus the maintenance (25k), insurance (around 12k) and gas and tire money each year to keep up the car, you can afford an exotic car for not that high a salary. now as for career choice, it all really depends on how you decide to take your career. you can be an engineer, computer scientist, businessman, doctor lawyer or even an entrepreneur to own a supercar but at the same time there are people in the same career fields that can't afford them. personally, if you can afford the maintenance, i dont think you should have much of a problem saving up for a new car. that being said, if you can find a used supercar that gets an extremely thorough check over by an experienced mechanic (experienced with working on that car not just regular cars) you can save yourself a lot of money by buying a used car. if however you can't fin an experienced mechanic to check over a car or don't fully trust the conditions of the car that you are buying, then buying a new car is smarter.

most likely 200+. If you read up on some Lambo forums you will see it is a lot of physicians who own those cars. Unless you got a really good gig or own a successful business, it will be hard to afford one. Even a used exotic goes for around 100k-125k. Look up used lamborghinis and 04 gallardos still go for around 115k and that car is almost 10 years old. (depends on condition too). unless your banking mad money, it is pointless in buying a car brand new. Your better off buying a used one for less if you could even afford it. If you want to chase money, look into wall st and investment banking as they make it rain. They also put in a lot of work in as well.
