seems to be the Clinton strategy... focus on getting out of the recession, grow the economy, then pull back the social programs... but that first step is a doozy this time...

Short term it is not a problem. Long term it could be a problem if federal spending can not be controlled and federal revenues not be increased. Find it rather funny how people perceive the conservatives as fiscal smart and yet the last 3 Republican President's were responsible for almost $11 trillion of the current $16+ trillion of federal debt
