Hi! I would recommend bare minerals foundation! It is powder, but acts as a light foundation, and it looks very natural. They have several colors and tones to choose from (I too have fair skin, and little acne) it also won't break you out! :)

bourjois health mix foundation is amazing! It doesn't have a cakey look and it comes in really fair shades! It has a really buildable coverage and it's great for everyday usage! I think it's about £/$10, it smells great aswell!

Maybelline Fit Me foundation is great, lightweight, and looks very natural. Plus it is only about $6

I have similar skin to you. Fair, the occasional zit, redness in some spots, a bit oily. I find that powder foundations don't really work for me, and I really hate thick cakey full coverage liquid and cream foundations. I use Covergirl Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation. I squeeze some onto the back of my hand and then I squeeze a smaller amount of moisturizer and blend the two. It sort of makes the foundation a bit lighter and gives little to medium coverage. If you feel that the lotion makes it too light of coverage, don't mix the two. (I know you could just buy a lotion with foundation in it, but I prefer to mix my own. It gives me control over portions) I also find it helps to apply it with a sponge or brush. Gives the illusion of a flawless look. I use a more expensive concealer by Benefits called Boiing in the shade 01 I use it before foundation, under my eyes and over any kind of redness or zit. But I also have a cheap one and it's Tru Match. It comes with a brush and its the size and shape of lipgloss that comes with the wand. Very light and liquidy, easy to spread and blend. After concealer and foundation, I have an old pressed powder by Cover Girl that I just swipe a fluffy brush over and go over the parts of my face lightly that get oily. You can use a loose powder, but for me it gets too heavy and makes it noticable I have powder on. Goodluck

The best thing in the whole wide world is bb cream, I have turned all my friends on to it. It has seven ingredients in it and one of them is a foundation and another is a skin corrector(evens out your skin tone) It doesn't matter what brand but beware of the price I use Garnier and it is one of the cheapest and works great. Also try using a face primer under so that it lays on the surface and does not sink into your skin. It will give you a glow and I have had people comment on my complexion.
