Means you have a misfire or 2. P0300 is pretty much a generic code. Any misfire will trigger that code to set. Some vehicles, even though only 1 cylinder actually is showing a misfire, sometimes it will set the P0300 first & can freeze the parameters where the Cylinder Specific DTC wont set. Need to get a Tech 2 or any scan tool that shows engine data. Need to see the actually misfire data. We want to know which cylinders is showing a misfire. Then we go from there. Its easier to actually work on the cylinder that is showing a misfire than actually guess & work on all 4, 6 or 8 depending on your engine Year, Make & Model would have been helpful since certain cars exhibit certain issues
