Calorie deficit. That's how people lose weight. People go on fad diets ( such as low carb) and cut calories without being aware and think they have lost weight by cutting out carbs. You can HAVE anything so long as you stick to your calorie budget. I lost 94 pounds last year. Plenty of protein, carbs and some fat. I also ate junk food nearly everyday. Snickers, burgers, oreos, ice cream- anything I wanted. I just had a calorie deficit. You must learn how to eat food all foods in moderation and calorie counting has helped me learn that. Learn to eat like a normal person or you will have trouble maintaining.
