The Canon T5i (aka 700D) with the 18-55 or if your budget can reach that far the 18-135. Be sure to get the STM lens if you want autofocus during video.

There are Videos on Youtube which show the video quality of cameras with different lenses. I saw the video of the Canon 600D with a 50mm f1.8 lens. And i was so impressed by the result of the video, that i had to buy that lens. So i would suggest that u buy the same camera, but with a different lens. try the 50mm f1.4.

Recommend you the one I have experienced. Nikon D7000.My brother has one. It's cool, brilliant to hold and use, offers amazing image quality under all conditions, including low light. Its video recording effect is also very nice. Hope can help.

Keep in mind to check the camera for being capable of continuously focusing in movie mode.I've seen some Nikon SLR's with this feature and also check Canon's new STM (stepper motor) lenses which works near silent and specially developed for movie shooting.

The Canon t3i is what I use and it's excellent. Since you're new I'd recommend the 18-55 IS lens. That's also what I use for video.
