Great. How can we Americans get asylum from the loony Christians?

I don't care, I wished they'd all just go back to their own country and leave us in peace.

its political propaganda
Answer #4 | 14/01 2014 09:53
Eh. I'm kind of torn. On one hand, I'm glad because he probably was in serious danger. On the other hand, do you know many people like this man there are? Are we supposed to take them all in? How can we sustain that? Are you supposed to pick some to save, and tell others "sorry, but you have to take the risk?" It's between a rock and a hard place Edit: Exactly. People who (IMO) shouldn't have asylum, get it, while others who are truly suffering, don't. It's not a perfect system, and sometimes, the decision on who gets asylum comes down to political favours. Why save a 15 year old Egyptian atheist, when we can give a former Taliban solider asylum in exchange for information? It's rarely an altruism system, and more about the kickbacks

Atheists should be granted political asylum from religious lunatics. The reasons "For" this to be the case would not fit on this page were I to list them.
