Yes it could be a fuse or a tripped breaker. Replace the fuse or reset the breaker. Older breakers (weak) can trip on their own and need to be replaced. If it happens again, call a qualified electrician because there is a potentially serious situation setting it off that requires expert attention.

You probably tripped a circuit breaker. Note that in resetting the breaker you sometimes have to first fully open it or it won't set. You must also consider that something you plugged in blew a fuse. Or it could be a phantom trigger. Breakers also do become defective
