Have a look at a site called ETSY, its where you actually create something and sell it for profit. the only legit work from home jobs require a technical degree and many years of experience.

I probably should have been more specific in my question: I know several places that someone can work from home and crowdsource, mturk, usertesting, mymui etc just wanted to know if i was missing one.

Starting your own business is the only way to actually make a living at home, and then it might not do it. Working at home for someone else is the lowest paying job in the world.

there are few, if any, really good and legit work at home non-phone jobs out there. Most are scams, all pay poorly. Amazon MTurk is a good example - not a scam, but the money is awful - and the requestor you do the work for, can reject your work, which means you won't get paid for it and future work depends on you getting good marks for previous jobs... so its a vicious circle.. I expect its the same with most of them you need to do your research before comitting to anything
