If you liked Area no Kishi then the manga continues on like normal. It's a typical shounen sports series so the formula is standard even to its most recent 38th volume. The anime didn't skip much--it's much easier to animate action than it is to draw it out page by page. Hence why sports manga are a bajillion volumes long while their anime counterparts are shorter. I would say no to Sakurasou no Kanojo. Since the anime is based on the light novel, not the manga. The anime and manga adapt the story in their own way. It's like asking if you should play the 3rd Harry Potter video game after watching the 2nd movie. Different media use the original story differently. High School of the Dead....well, you can. The manga has been on hiatus for several years. So you'll end up hitting a wall. As for Kaichou wa Maid-sama!--how many shoujo manga have you read? It too is a standard forumla and the ending is completely cookie cutter for the shoujo demographic. Nothing remarkable.

From your list, the only one worth reading is Area no Kishi.
