Yeah he was. But by the way he used them, he was trying to make both points: using innuendos (flirting) and actually meaning them. I say stuff like that sometimes, and actually use it and mean it both ways.

I wouldn't focus to much on it, and it did seem alittle that he was trying to send a message but could also not mean anything. If you notice that he keeps doing it then it should only support the idea that he already likes you. If you like him and it seems that you guys are shy in a way then talking about something more than friends is a good way to go :)
