I'm not trying to throw a wet towel on your idea ~ But - the radio station will NEVER play your music.... Your going to have to share your music in other ways because if your tunes don't come from the corporate office or some big record company then it will never get air play at the radio station your working at........

Metro is mostly right. The radio stations all have strict format policies. You might be able to meet some people that are connected in the business, but only a very few radio shows play local unreleased talent. The 8 Stations where I work have exactly one station that plays "homegrown" music and that's only a few hours on Sunday night. They would not play anything that deviated very much from their adult contemporary format, certain not beats and Rap. You need to make contacts in that part of the industry,
