It does not matter how steady you drive it is how you drive If you expected small car fuel economy you purchased a Body on frame SUV or Mini Van that weighs 5700 pounds or more with 4 wheel drive. Infiniti 2013 JX and the 2014 Pathfinder are the same. Basically a Nissan Maxima Altima 3.5 liter V-6 drive train under much larger less aerodynamic body work. Is your Pathfinder the body on frame 4.0 liter 5 speed automatic trans version or the "all new" front wheel drive version? Anyway 3.5 liter CVT or 4.0 liter Five speed automatic are not designed for great mileage. You cannot have your cake and eat it to. If you start and stop a lot or drive short distances "your Mileage will not be as good as the EPA got during testing If you carry loads tow things and stay in town Good Luck.
