Genealogy is about individual ancestry research, not generalistic movement of people........... however no, Britain is an island and people in the main, remained on the island, unlike the European continent which was easier for people to migrate to other areas/countries......... As for people moving during the war.... no Italy was an enemy, they were Axis, so unless some British traitors went to Italy which 'could' happen although very few would have , more likely they were fighting the Italians, than joining them......... As with all genealogy anything is possible BUT we don't work on possibles or probables, maybe's or 'could have'...we research via written records and prove our ancestry................
