You are very young, some people learn to dance when they are 50. Learn what you want, have fun in life. You are never too old to do anything.

Oh wow...Don't worry you are never too old to dance! People would argue I suppose whether or not the lack of experience would compensate if you wish to take dance into a profession but as most people have already said dancing is an art-form so its if you like...'Ever-Green' you can always get serious with good practice and tonnes of commitment plus 20 is not old at all ...So many oppertunities ahead of you! I hope you go ahead and dance, I dance casually never took it seriosuly because its a release of stress and pressure haha! But yeh Never to old to start! Good luck !!!

If in reasonably good health, you are probably never too old to start; but I speak mostly of ballroom dancing... I know little to nothing about "modern" dancing. This forum's primary focus is ballroom, but there may well be someone here with experience in Modern who can respond in a more helpful way.
