The liberal media gets its marching orders from the New York Times. The New York Times has not endorsed a Republican for president since Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956. Since that year it has endorsed every Democratic nominee. America Online and Time Warner merged in 2001 to create one of the largest media companies in the world. The new colossus owns dozens of subsidiaries, including online services, print and broadcast news organizations, cable television companies, movie studios, music companies and publishing houses. AOL/Time Warner gives 78% to the democrat party.
