Spouses are not dependents like others. If your spouse's income is already over the filing requirement, any income that you have (even $1) has to be claimed. Technically, if you file separately, you would not have to file. However, as your income is so low, it would be stupid to do so.

If your only income for the year is only $250, then you don't have to claim anything. However, if you do claim anything, then you have to claim all $250.
