Sounds like the tattoo artist used cheap ink but also their shouldn't be any scabs peeling. Scabs will wreck the tattoo and it the colour will be lighter coz the scabs take off the colour. Did you do proper aftercare?

Mine did the same thing the tattoo won't be the same shade of black as what it looked going on I wouldn't worry about it very much and you can get gel to put on it to make it stand out they should sell it at the tattoo shop I think it's called tattoo goo it's in a white and yellow bottle it works great I used it when I had mine done

Your tattoo will not be as dark and vibrant as when you first get it, just because the ink is all the layers of your epidermis as well as being on top of the dermis layer. As your tattoo heals the epidermis layers are replaced with healthy new ink free skin. Sometimes that new skin has a slighly whitesh look to it almost scar like. Once your tattoo is completely healed, this will go away. And your tattoo while not as dark and vibrant as it was in the beginning will not have the faded healing look to it. (unless the artist used cheap chinese ink). Give it time to heal (4-6 weeks) and if it still looks faded go back in for a touch up :)

Your tattoo is supposed to scab, and it looks duller because new fresh skin is going over your tattoo (which is supposed to happen) give your tattoo a couple more weeks to fully heal and it should look good again (not as good as first done but still good)
