Does it not say right on the ticket? It depends on where you live, but normally citations list the fine right on the ticket. The reason they do this is so that you can plead guilty and waive your court appearance without ever having to go to the court house. As such, they list the fine right on the ticket since you would never see a judge in that case. That being said, it really all depends. Even citations can sometime still require an appearance in court, and something like underage drinking is much more likely for that to happen with. I would read the citation you were given in it's entirety. It will give you all of the information you need to know going forward. If it does not list the fine directly on the citation, then it would depend on where you live. Just doing some basic searching I see fines for underage drinking range from $50 up to $300 for a first offense depending on where you live. Also, some states well suspend driving privileges temporarily.

The judge will tell you, and you won't be getting your driver's license for a while either.
