Oh, the number one thing... No, that should be corporate responsibility. Oh, wait, no, they don't have to be responsible: they'r the Job Creators and we cannot burden them w/ regulations and taxes, only We the People should have those burdens: so says Conserv/GOP "philosophy."

Personal responsibility should be the number one thing for everyone, in America or wherever. Without that there is chaos, with it there is hope.

Ideally yes but there are always people who can't fend for themselves through illness or injury. So the Con answer is to pick up your dead at sunrise.

As a fiscal Republican, I strongly encourage every person to do the best they can. As a social Democrat, I refuse to allow even one human being to fail, due to a lack of social safety nets.

We are all in this together , once we start pulling in different directions, then the country will just tear apart. Yes personal responsibility Is important, but we must look at the whole of the country. This country wasn't built by one person, it took everyone to build it to where we are, and it will take all of us to get it back on track.

Personal responsibility is a failed talking point. Sure, everyone should be responsible, but the Republican Party is FULL of people who failed to take personal responsibility for their own lives.
