Yes. You should. I think you should shout your real intentions and motives without any shy or hesitation. Be innocent. Ego, pride or vanity should not be allowed to play a role here.

Intelligence is not your gpa. You cannot define yourself by a government funded school's depiction of your self. Intelligence is much broader than that. Intelligence is not knowledge, but instead how well you can think. Intelligence starts with a yearning to learn, curiosity, and imagination, and blossoms into wonder, critical thinking, and abstract thought. Facts and knowledge are usually just the bonus of intelligence, but knowledge and facts do not make intelligence, but instead a good memory. Everything around you was formed from someone's imagination first, before it came to be. All of Albert Einstein's theories within science were brought forth by his intense curiosity, and imagination. But to answer your question, yes, you must value your intelligence. And your potential, it is already infinite. It is horrible to remain stagnant in life, that is the worst poison of life. You find what you want to do, but in my opinion, bettering yourself in this journey we call life, will be the only thing that will take you anywhere, and that especially includes intelligence.
