It may seem like you only need $100 a week now, however this may change when you get a bit older. It's better to finish school. I used to think to myself, "I only need about 300-500 a month and I'm set.." This is complete nonsense. Rent alone is generally more than that. This depends on where you live, though just about anywhere is going to charge more. You'll want to be finished with school eventually, and you don't want to be going back age 30. That said, school's not for everyone. If you think you can get a job, I'd consider dropping out. Just make sure if you do get the job, stick with it and don't quit. That's been my experience.

Don't drop out, take a break! Take a semester off or even a whole year! By taking time off, it will help you determine what you want to do with your life. There are some people who have no college degree but are way more successful than those who do have one. At one point or another, you'd have to move out your parents home anyway. It just so happens that it's going to be sooner than you expected. Look for a job and place to move into before you tell them of your decision. Do what makes you happy! Goodluck :)

If you finish school and get that degree, it will help you get a better job, minimum wage is not going to get you very far. You aren't thinking of all the extra expenses of living alone. 100 a week won't get you very far and might actually end with you out on the street instead of in a home. You feel overwhelmed because your whole life is ahead of you. I changed my major at least 4 times in college, finally deciding on a degree in English with a minor in Criminal Justice. I have a full time job... am I doing what my degree "prepared" me for? Nope, I mean other than the countless emails I am writing daily. Get that degree, and get a real job, a minimum wage job will not help. Your overwhelmed feeling is because of college, I was always overwhelmed and under extreme anxiety (not a great test taker). Push forward and finish it, you are already almost there seeing as you are halfway done. Good luck!
