I don't think so at all. They have kids together. He will always be in her life for that reason. If this upsets you, you should find a woman who doesn't have children.

That will be a nightmare,can't you have christmas together just the two of you,or maybe with the children? I do not understand why her parents would invite the ex husband,if he wants to see the children let him see them on boxing day,on his own!

I'd be upset. They're divorced. She remarried. They need to respect you and her, and she needs to maintain better boundaries. I would tell her that you'll be spending Christmas at your house if her ex is going to your parents.
