Here are a few suggestions: The Ivory Tower. Oliver Plunkett St. Very eclectic and eccentric food. A five course set meal at 55 euros a head. Cheap it is not. However an intimate and unusual small room with very friendly staff and award winning food. The Vintage Restaurant (My favorite) http://www.vintagerestaurant.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=41 Very cosy fair priced restaurant. Harbour Lodge (My husband's favorite) http://www.harbourlodge.com/ Very romantic. Very reasonably priced. Located on the waterfront Kinsale harbour. Eco Douglas Restaurant (Very interesting) http://www.eco.ie/index.htm Fenns Quay. http://www.fennsquay.ie/index_still.html No. 5 Fenns Quay, parallel to Washington St. Contemporary and very high quality and continental cuisine in a nicely renovated old house. Expect to pay about 35-40 euros a head. I hope that this helps!
